Hamas Spox Boasts Of His Neturei Karta ‘Jewish Friends’

Hamas spokesman Osama Hamdan, speaking from Doha, on Monday brushed off accusations of anti-Semitism by boasting his friendship with some Neturei Karta fanatics.
During an interview on CNN Monday evening, Hamdan was challenged by Wolf Blitzer over comments Hamdan made in Arabic, saying that Jews use Christian blood to bake matzah.
“We all remember how the Jews used to slaughter Christians in order to mix their blood in their holy matzoh. This is not a figment of the imagination or something taken from a film. It is a fact acknowledged by their own books and historical evidence,” Hamadan was quoted.
But Hamdan, instead of retracting his comments, argued that the truly disgusting rhetoric is coming from the Israelis, mostly from a back bench Likud MK Moshe Feiglin.
“They are misusing the words. I’ve said on the same occasion that we don’t have problems with the Jews… I have Jewish friends who are supporting the Palestinian rights. They are supporting Palestinian rights andthey are our friends,” he said.
Hamdan then said that he had no problems with the Jews as a religion. It was just the occupation, he said, that was the problem. “We don’t have a problem with the Jews as they are Jewish people. In fact, we believe in Moses. We believe in Jesus. We believe in Mohammed. We respect all three of them the same,” he said.
“I was hoping for a flat denial that you’d utter such ridiculous words that Jews would kill Christians in order to bake matzah,” Blitzer said in his third and final attempt at an answer.
