Anti-Israel activists recently attempted to place boycott Israel billboards on buses in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The billboards were to feature the words "Boycott Israel, Boycott Apartheid" and a picture of a spider crushing skulls. After the Ann Arbor Transit Authority said the ad violated their advertising policies, activists took the matter to a federal judge who ruled in the transit authority's favor. Activists have said they will continue to fight to have the ad approved and have considered taking other actions.
