Hamas, the terrorist gang whose charter endorses a world wide caliphate and calls for the liquidation of Israel and every Jew on the face of the earth, has come out in favor of the Ground Zero Mosque.
Not a shock.
Hamas understands that buiding a mosque at Ground Zero will be a symbol of Islamist supremacy and a bold step towards turning America over to sharia, brutal Islamic law.
Imam Rauf, the man who is spearheading the Ground Zero Mosque, refused to label Hamas a terrorist organization, stating: “... terrorism is a very complex issue.”
But building a mosque at Ground Zero is, y'know, simple.
The Democrats insist that there is nothing unlawful about such a mosque.
They are quite right.
But law divorced from decency is hollow.
The development of a mosque where 3,000 Americans were slaughtered in the name of Islam is not just inapproriate, but immoral.

Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar said Muslims 'have to build everywhere' so that followers can pray, just like Christians and Jews build their places of worship.
Al-Zahar spoke Sunday on 'Aaron Klein Investigative Radio' on WABC-AM in the U.S. He is a co-founder of Hamas and its chief on the Gaza Strip.
Of course, Barack Obama, at a White House Ramadan dinner, also endorsed the Ground Zero Mosque.
Hamas endorses the mosque in the name of radical, genocidal Islam.
Obama, and the Democrats, endorse the mosque in the name of freedom of religion.
Of course, this is the Islamist playbook: using American democracy to destroy that very democracy.
Let's hear from Dr. Zhudi Jasser, a genuine Muslim moderate and the head of American Islamic Forum For Democracy:

Instead, you have focused on the very issue that the Islamist propagandists wish you to—the narrative that Americans somehow need lectures about Islam, Muslims, and religious freedom.
Your message to Americans will be spun on Al Jazeera and by Islamists across the world that President Obama reassured a friendly global Muslim audience at the White House Ramadan dinner that he was going to remind Americans about the principles of religious freedom for Muslims since they seem to be trampling over those principles in the local dispute at Ground Zero in New York.
Mr. President this is not about religious freedom. It is about the importance of the World Trade Center site to the psyche of the American People. It is about a blatant attack on our sovereignty by people whose ideology ultimately demands the elimination of our way of life. While Imam Faisal Rauf may not share their violent tendencies he does seem to share a belief that Islamic structures are a political statement and even Ground Zero should be looked upon through the lens of political Islam and not a solely American one.
As a Muslim desperate to reform his faith, your remarks take us backwards from the day that my faith will come into modernity. I do not stand to eliminate Imam Rauf's religious freedom; I stand to make sure that my children's religious freedom will be determined by the liberty guaranteed in the American Constitution and not by clerics or leaders who are apologists for shar'iah law and will tell me what religious freedom is. . . .

Obama, like all leftists, takes a zero sum approach to Islam. They do not recognize radical islam, conversely they do not recognize moderate Islam. In their insistence on lumping the entire Muslim world into one homogeneous group, they end up buttressing radical Islam.
The Ground Zero Mosque is a stark political issue that divides Democrats from Republicans.
