Today we commemorate the Yarzheit of the Founder of Laniado Hospital, the Admor of Sanz Klausenberg of Saintly and Blessed memory, Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam ZKT''L. May the Rebbe's Torah and teachings continue to be a shining beacon and an ongoing legacy for the generations to come. May the Achdut of Am Yisrael be eternal and bring us closer and speedily to the Geula, Amen.

Sanz Rebbe Menachem Avel The Mother Of Terror Victim Eyal Yifrach HY"D

The Sanzer Rebbe Shlita was among the many being menachem aveil at the home of the families of the kedoshim HY”D. The rebbe visited with the Yifrach family, the parents of Eyal HY”D. The rebbe explained “אין כל בריה יכולה לעמוד במעלתם ובמחיצתם של קדושים”.

The rebbe spoke with Mr. Yifrach explaining the level of the boys who dies Al Kiddush Hashem and the mission, they the parents were selected to fulfill. He explained “our existence as the Jewish People is dependent on our steadfast emunah in HKBH”, praising their actions during recent weeks.

When the rebbe finished being menachem aveil, he got up and went to the women’s section and spoke with Mrs. Yifrach, explaining to her that she and the other women were MeKadesh Shem Shomayim around the world.

"The boys have a definite zchus in that the world came together and did so much good and engaged in so many tefilos, this is a great zchus for them and the families.
Moreover, rebbe said that the way in which the parents conducted themselves is such a Kiddush Hashem.  They showed the world how to deal with tragedy.  This calamity is more than any human should have to handle, and they have handled it with tremendous courage, faith and strength of character.  That lesson to the world shall be a merit for them to feel even an iota of Nechama which is seemingly impossible upon such a tragedy, and may this lesson bring the ultimate redemption."

As the search for the boys continued, the rebbe was mispallel for them as the Kosel.

In other Sanzer news, Sunday night 9 Tammuz 5774 marks the 20th anniversary of the Sanzer Rebbe ZT”L ZY”A, the Shefa Chaim of Sanz. Thousands are expected to be visiting the kever which is located in Kiryat Sanz section of the beis chaim in Netanya. In Mosdos Sanz around the world, yahrzeit seudos will be held. The ohel around the kever will remain open the entire day Monday, 9 Tammuz.

The rebbe shlita is expected on Monday as well. Police are stepping up security in the area in anticipation of many many mispallalim. There will be special limudim in all yeshivos affiliated with the chassidus on the yahrzeit.

YWN: Sanz Klausenberg Rebbi Shlita at Maran Ovadia Yosef

The Sanz-Klausenberg Rebbe USA Shlita is visiting in Eretz Yisrael. The rebbe on Monday evening 13 Elul 5773 visited Har Nof to pay a visit to Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita.

The rebbe was greeted with warmth by the Gadol Hador. The two spent a few minutes exchanging divrei Torah. The rebbe told R’ Ovadia that his father the Bal HaShefa Chaim ZT”L gave a shiur in which he expressed his profound pain on the machlokes that exists between Ashkenazim and Sephardim, adding the late rebbe said “Avraham Avinu was from Aram Naharayim – he was Sephardi”.

Rav Ovadia gave the rebbe a copy of his soon-to-be-released new sefer Chazon Ovadia on Halachos pertaining to trumos and maasros. The rebbe added that he feels himself a talmid of the rav, learning from his seforim daily.

Why the UN was founded?

I haven't been able to verify it yet, but Mrs. Carl found a great quote about the UN from theKlausenberger Rebbe zt"l, R. Yekusiel Yehuda Halberstam, in a letter to Mishpacha Magazine this week.

"When the UN was founded, the Klausenberger Rebbe ztz"l famously said that the reason Hashem [God] orchestrated its establishment was so that when Mashiach [Messiah] would come, many nations would claim that they loved Jews in order to protect themselves from Divine Justice, at which point Hashem would point to their dismal voting record on Israel, thereby proving them far from ohavei Yisrael [lovers of Jews]."

It rings true.
