ELDER OF ZIYON: "Jews hide their anti-Egypt plans in Pepsi ads"

From the ADL:
The latest conspiracy theory coming out of Egypt suggests that Pepsi is owned by Jews and that the company is somehow being used to infiltrate the country. According to the conspiracy theory, Pepsi is an acronym for “Pay Every Pound for the Security of Israel.

The absurd conspiracy theory recently surfaced on the Egyptian television talk show, Egypt Today. The program’s host, Tawfik Okasha, who is known for his opposition to the Muslim Brotherhood, said:

"What is the corporation of Pepsi? It is one of the largest and most important corporations owned by the Jewish Zionists… the Torah of Ezra tells them [the Jews] you can’t enter heaven before you rule Egypt."

Okasha then mentioned a recent Pepsi ad campaign geared toward football fans in the streets of Cairo, saying that the ad is proof that Israel and the Jews are trying to infiltrate Egypt.

Okasha elaborated on this idea yesterday on his Twitter account, where he posted a photo of the Pepsi ad with circles around the jersey numbers of the football players. The numbers, according to Okasha, represent a coded message indicating when the Jews will bring back the Muslim Brotherhood to rule Egypt.

According to Okasha, “The motto of Pepsi corporation is Pay for Israel and its owners are Jews who support the Muslim Brotherhood…anyone who wouldn’t understand the [below] ad is stupid!!”
Well, he's right about one thing. There are a lot of stupid people around.

Here's the ad and its brilliant interpretation:

Yes, Israel is bringing the Muslim Brotherhood back into power on January 25, 2014!

Don't you see the resemblance between the W of NOW and the four fingered logo of the Muslim Brotherhood demonstrators?

I cannot believe that the people behind this theory didn't know about Pepsi's sponsorship of the Hamas soccer tournament every year. What more proof do you need that it supports the Muslim Brotherhood?

Anyway, did you ever wonder why Jews feel such a compulsion to give coded messages of their nefarious plans to the enemy? Wouldn't it be easier to just act without telegraphing their moves?

Ah, but the reason is that this way, the Jews can discredit the bright Egyptians who figure out their schemes - by changing the date on them!

Pepsi – The Official Terrorist Drink

There’s a new organization roaming the streets of Damascus, they’re called LAFA (Not this kind of Lafa) – Liwa’a Abu Fadl al-Abbas. Here’s some background information, courtesy ofPhillip Smyth.
Making its first appearances in the fall of 2012, Liwa’a Abu Fadl al-Abbas (Abu Fadl al-Abbas Brigades or LAFA) represents a new addition to the Syrian battlefield and serves as another example of increased sectarianism in the Syrian Civil War. The organization claims its role is to defend the Sayida Zaynab Shrine and surrounding Shia populated neighborhoods located in southern Damascus. The group is made-up of a mixture of a small number of native Syrian Shia with a majority of foreign Shia Muslim fighters.
LAFA has also maintained an outward appearance which mirrors the same type of spirit once found with the volunteer International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War. Despite the presented narrative, this does not necessitate the group is an ad hoc collection of individual Shia Muslims. The group heavily utilizes fighters originating from Iranian-backed organizations (such as Iraq’s Kata’ib Hizballah and Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq), has uniformed personnel, new weapons, a recognizable leadership structure, and openly identifies with Lebanese Hizballah. These factors point to an extremely organized fighting group and deeper levels of Iranian involvement in the organization.
Unlike larger and more established militant Shia Islamist groups such as Lebanon’s Hizballah or Iraq’s Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, LAFA has no official website or official online forums. The group finds most of its internet representation through a mixture of quasi-official Facebook pages and YouTube stations. In fact, for the Western and Arabic-language press, LAFA’s existence only came to light when a YouTube music video featuring the group’s fighters was made public. Thus, fifteen pro-LAFA Facebook pages, five Facebook pages associated with Lebanese Hizballah, one Hizballah forum, three pro-Muqtada al-Sadr forums, and five pro-LAFA/pro-Hizballah YouTube stations were reviewed for this study.
One such Facebook photo is this picture, where Abu ‘Ajeeb, LAFA’s “Secretary General”, and other militants drink Pepsi.

This isn’t Pepsi’s first connection to terrorism, if you may recall the Pepsi sponsored Hamas football game in Gaza.
It seems there’s something about Pepsi that is savoury to the tongue of terrorists, though in reality, all the money used to buy these drinks goes to Israel, for Pepsi is actually an acronym for Pay Every Penny, Save Israel.

Pepsi sponsors Hamas football?

The Hamas mouthpiece Palestine Times has a photo essay of a rebuilt soccer stadium that was built in Beit Lahiya, Gaza, with Qatari aid.

As is usual with these kinds of things, Hamas prime minister and avid soccer player Ismail Haniyeh couldn't resist kicking the ball around together with the team.

But look at the logos of the players with Haniyeh:

Is Pepsi sponsoring a soccer team or league that is backed by terrorist group Hamas? How much do they spend on advertising in Gaza?

Go and ask at the Pepsi Facebook page or ask @Pepsi on Twitter!

UPDATE: Pepsi removes any mention on their Facebook page as soon as it is posted.

UPDATE 2: According to this Aqsa Sports page, the official Pepsi bottling company in Gaza - Yazji - is the official sponsor of the Hamas-supported ceremony. Based on the uniforms, it appears that the sponsorship goes beyond that. Is Pepsi officially supporting this? (h/t Ian)

UPDATE 3: Pepsi apparently sponsored the Ramadan football championship in Gaza in August:

UPDATE 4: Here is Yazegi's Facebook page, with the Pepsi logo - and Hamas terrorist in chief Ismail Haniyeh - both featured prominently.

UPDATE 5: Judge Dan reminds me that Hamas (as well as Iran and others) used to say that Pepsi is an acronym for "Pay Every Penny to Save Israel."
