My Response to the Death Threat
In my last e-mail, you met Abedul Rachman, the Eminem wannabe who sent me adelightful rap threatening me with death and sexual assault. He had sent it to me with a warning that I not make fun of the Palestinian people, or else....
So as my Chanukah present to him, I created for him a sequel to the Gaza Girls hit "Kill All the Jews" (now over 114,000 views!). In it, I play Tina Shahida, the lead singer of the Gaza Girls, who wants to spread the #FreePalestine cause by parodying that mega-hit "Chandelier" by Sia. Only she swings from a "Rocket Launcher." With the popularity of the original, I believe it could be used in schools as an excellent educational tool about the violent, racist nature of the movement for "Palestine."
Watch it (unless you don't want to see me in a leotard) as well as the remarkable original for context.

A Dark Chanukah on the Temple Mount
Today, in honor of Chanukah, I did what any good Maccabee would want me to do: I went up to the Temple Mount. After all, Chanukah is about the re-sanctification of the Temple.
I joined a group from "Students for the Temple Mount" who make it a priority to go up regularly. It was a humiliating and scary morning.
First, the police made my group wait two hours to enter, while anyone not visibly Jewish just moseyed on in with no questions asked. They warned us not to pray or to engage any of the Muslim worshipers. Tom Nisani, the brave leader of the group, asked the policeman if we could pray in our heart. The policeman evaded the question.
Finally, we were immediately welcomed by "Allah Akbar" - the chant we hear too often before terror attacks. Everywhere we walked "Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!" We decided to sit on a plaza on the side. Apparently the Muslims didn't want us to sit there. Suddenly, the Muslims "prayer groups" (men, women and children) waiting to harass any Jew descended upon us shouting and shouting. They circled us, while the police meekly stood guard around us. (Watch the disturbing video here - I'm in the pink hat.) I was afraid the mob would break through and kick and hit us. When we eventually got out of that corner, Tom was gone. The police arrested him for no logical reason. Meanwhile, all the racist haters were left to harass us, intimidate us. Tom is sleeping in a jail cell tonight, and tomorrow he will face a hearing with the Jerusalem police for being...a Jew who expected to be protected by Israeli police.
So yes, everyone is celebrating Chanukah, but I fear it has simply become a commercial feel good holiday (a topic of an article below). We have much to be grateful for in the Land of Israel, but basic Jewish civil rights are being trampled on while antisemitism runs wild in a place that is historically and spiritually significant to the Jewish people.
Which brings me to my interview with Yehudah Glick that appeared this weekend inThe Jerusalem Post, Even after miraculously surviving the attempt on his life, he understands that you cannot give up on the right to your own life, to your values, to your spirit, to your mind, your soul. It is a message that Hollywood must heed as Sony capitulates human creativity to death threats.
We cannot be afraid. Instead, we must work to ensure that moral use of force is directed to defend individuals from violent racism and tyranny. It's what the Maccabees would have wanted.
Happy Chanukah,
Orit

Kill All the Jews - The Gaza Girls Debut Single SPOOF
Kill All the Jews - The Gaza Girls Debut Single SPOOF from Gaza Girls on Vimeo.
The Gaza Girls, a new Palestinian girls band, is pleased to announce its new single, "Kill All the Jews."* The Gaza Girls hope to inspire Muslim women across the globe to express their individuality and say what they truly think!
The lead singer of Gaza Girls is an American convert to Islam who felt inspired to start this band after Israel committed genocide in Gaza in the summer of 2014. The way to win hearts and minds is through music! The way to fight the Zionist Occupation is through a smile!

*The music video is a satire of Antisemitism prevalent in social media, in the Hamas charter, in Palestinian media, and in the Koran.
The video demonstrates that Antisemitism is, in some societies, part of "pop culture," often expressed through hatred of Israel. It also exposes that modern Antisemitism is masked as anti-Zionism, and it highlights the indoctrination and suppression of women in the Muslim world.
We call upon people of conscience to combat authentic Antisemitism, hate speech, and calls for Jewish genocide, which today are expressed in the defamation of Israel and in calls to destroy the Jewish state.
The creator is Israeli-American journalist and author Orit Arfa. Learn more at oritarfa.net.
For examples of such Antisemitic hate speech (particularly those translated from Arabic), check out videos posted by media watchdog groups such as Palestinian Media Watch and Memri.

Shake and rattle the Jews
Exterminate the Zionists
The world will be better for it
CHORUS

Trick the Zionists
Kidnap the soldiers and the kids
Zionists, they will burn
Kill the Jews its our turn
Kidnap the soldiers and the kids
Zionists, they will burn
Kill the Jews its our turn
CHORUS
This Israel it is a crime
Bring it down for all time
We'll shake em out - out of their beds
And then it's off, off with their heads
Bring it down for all time
We'll shake em out - out of their beds
And then it's off, off with their heads
CHORUS

Trick the Zionists
Talk about love and peace
The world will love us for it
And hate who is Jewish
Trick the Zionists
Talk about love and peace
The world will love us for it
And hate who is Jewish

"Let the Jordan Run" Temple Mount Music Video #LetJewsPray
Our nation is praying for our boys, and, for the most exalted prayer, Jews assemble at the Kotel. But why settle for the outer wall? The most exalted prayer is not at the Kotel. The most exalted prayer is at the Temple Mount, our holiest site.
There is one problem. Jews are not allowed to pray there. The Wakf, which is the Muslim authority granted de facto control of the Temple Mount by the Israeli government since 1967, places strict restrictions on Jewish movement on the Temple Mount. Non-Muslims can ascend through only one gate at specific, inconvenient hours, while Muslims can ascend anytime from eleven gates; Jews are not allowed to even mouth words silently. Often, Jews are supervised by the Waqf, in tandem with Israeli police. Jewish visitors sometimes face intimidation in the form of Islamic chants intolerantly uttered by those for whom the mere presence of a Jew is an insult.
We had the Temple Mount in our hands, and we gave it away. Why can't Israelis and Jews worldwide claim what is most precious to them? Why can't we hold on to what it is we really want, in our hearts? Why all the self-denial? We tiptoe around world opinion, fear of terror, and a desire to be accommodating, giving up what is rightfully ours and giving in to bloodthirsty terrorists.
This attitude permeates Israeli culture, crippling our government's response to enemies it must crush, to enemies that want to repeat the Holocaust...the same people who mercilessly and joyously abducted our children.
"Let the Jordan Run," a parody of the beautiful, empowering anthem "Let the River Run" by legendary Carly Simon, calls for Jewish ascent to the Temple Mount, freedom of Jewish worship, and the end to the bullying of Jews. Get a little more background, here.
I felt very comforted as I made this video. The beautiful stars in the video are from "Students of the Mount," a movement of Israeli students, secular and religious, who just get it. They are our future leaders. The give me faith in our future.
Enjoy and share this video, and come run with us....Next time you're in Jerusalem, go to the Mount, where our prayers will really be answered, because that prayer will also be the ultimate act of defiance against the enemies of the Jews.
Yours,
Orit

LYRICS
Girl:
Daddy, I keep having a bad dream
It's dark outside and bad guys are chasing me
Father:
Let me put my arms around you
Protect you from harm they want to do
Tomorrow I'll be gone for a little bit
I'll fight so that we won't get hit
Girl:
I'll wait for you in this shelter
Father:
I'll keep my girl out of danger
Father, Girl:
Oh, when can we go back to our home, the life we know
Stop our cries, who hears our plight?
CHORUS
Girl:
Make this go away now
Daddy, find a way out
I don't want them to hurt us
I trust you to protect us
Daddy:
My sweet, I will protect you
So now I need to leave You
It's always for you that I fight
So you sleep sound tonight
VERSE II
Girl/Father Harmony:
I used to dream of a future bright
Can I go back to see the light?
The fear that you feel on this cold floor
This shelter won't be home anymore
I used to be scared when you'd leave
But now I know you're fighting just for me
I'm the one who hates to leave you
But I'm the one who has to see this through
Oh, when can we go back to our home, the life we know
Stop our cries, who hears our plight?
CHORUS
Girl:
Make this go away now
Daddy, find a way out
I don't want them to hurt us
I trust you to protect us
Father:
My sweet, I will protect you
So now I need to leave you
It's always for you that I fight
So you sleep sound tonight
BRIDGE
Girl: For too long, I wanted this to end
Father: I'll be back soon, I just can't tell you when
So now I'll go, put on my uniform
And once and for all, you'll feel safe and warm
MUSICAL BREAK
VERSE III
Girl:
Daddy, is the nightmare over?
You're back so soon, and it's just tomorrow
Daddy:
Let me put my arms around you
Girl: Protect me from harm they want to do?
Daddy: Turns out I won't be gone for a little bit
They signed a deal.
Girl:
So we won't get hit
Can we now leave this shelter?
Daddy
(whisper) I can't tell her we're still in danger
Daddy:
Oh, when can we go back to our home, the life we know
Stop our cries, who hears our plight?
Make this go away now
Who will find a way out?
I know they want to hurt us
God, who will protect us?

A pro-settler Miley Cyrus video spoof This is not something you see everyday, from Orit Arfa:
From the YouTube page:
Miley Cyrus raised eyebrows and tongues with her hyper-sexual performance of her hit "We Can't Stop" at the MTV Video Music Awards. But concerned Jewish parents need not fear! A new video take on Miley's song has channeled her defiant spirit towards a worthy cause: defending Jewish rights to live and thrive in the land of Israel. Jews can't stop building, loving, praying, doing what we want in their land, in their homes. Too quote Miley, "Only God can Judge ya. Forget the haters, cuz Somebody loves ya."
Lyrics:
It's our LAND we can BUILD where we want
It's our LAND we can PRAY WHERE we want
It's our LAND we can LIVE HOW we want
We can BE who we want
MAKE PEACE IF we want
Bare land and Jewish bodies everywhere
Rockets through the air but who cares?
Cause we came to build our home now
But somebody might get stoned now
If they wants Jews to leave home
Can I get a hell no
Cause we gonna fight all night
Till we get our birthright, alright
So la da di da di, we like to BE FREE
Dance in Tel Aviv
LIVIN' however we want
This is our home
This is our rules
And we can't stop
And we won't stop
Can't you see it's we who own the LAND
Can't you see it's we who TAKE A STAND
And we can't stop
And we won't stop
We BUILD things
Things don't BUILD we
We don't STEAL nothing from nobody
It's our LAND we can BUILD WHERE we want
It's our LAND we can PRAY WHERE we want
It's our LAND we can LIVE HOW we want
We can GIVE WHAT we want
MAKE PEACE if we want
To my home guys here with the big guns
Savin' Jews from gettin' all beat up
Remember only God can judge ya
Forget the haters cause somebody loves ya
And everyone in line to make peace
Trying to get a Nobel for peace
We all so fed up here
Getting fed up here, yeah, yeah
So la da di da di, we like to BE FREE
Dancing with Miley
LIVING however we want
This is our home
This is our rules
And we can't stop
And we won't stop
Can't you see it's we who own the LAND
Can't you see it we who TAKE A STAND
And we can't stop
And we won't stop
We BUILD things
Things don't BUILD we
Don't take nothing from JOHN KERRY
It's our LAND we can BUILD WHERE we want
It's our LAND we can PRAY WHERE we want
It's our LAND we can LIVE HOW we want
We can GIVE WHAT we want
MAKE PEACE if we want
It's our LAND we BUILD what we want to
It's our HOME we can LIVE HOW we want to
It's our song we can sing if we want to
It's my mouth I can PRAY what I want to
Yea, Yea, Yeah
And we can't stop
And we won't stop
Can't you see it's we who own the LAND
Can't you see it we who TOOK A STAND
And we can't stop
And we won't stop
We BUILD things
Things don't BUILD we
We don't STEAL nothing from nobody
Yea, Yea, Yea

The Settler by Orit Arfa
Like the thousands who made their lives in the rural settlement of Gush Katif in Gaza, college freshman Sarah Dakar didn’t believe the Israel Defense Force would dare kick Jews out of their homes in Gaza. “Jews Don’t Expel Jews” she cried along with the Zionist activists seeking to stop what they called “The Expulsion.”
Once she is dragged out of her home by the Jewish army she had once idolized–and to which her brother lost his life–she decides: Screw it. Screw God. Screw the country. Screw the Jewish people. She sets off for Israel’s big city, Tel Aviv, seductively fertile ground for a religious rebel.
The colorful lights and sizzling music of Tel Aviv's world-famous nightclub, Atlantis, ignite her love for dance. Despite herself, she is drawn to its charismatic, liberal owner, Ziv Harel. He's intrigued by the prospect of transforming a “religious settler” into a nightlife queen.
Their tortured romance forces both to confront their deep-seated values, but how far will Sarah go to question who she is and what she believes—and at what cost?

LYRICS:
She a miracle, besieged by liars
A dream now reality, love is her highway
She's living in a world that won't inquire
Filled with catastrophe, but she knows she can lead the way
Oh, she got the good on her side
But they keep bringing her down
Oh, haters scream so loud
But she's not backing down
Israel will inspire
Israel will inspire
She'll fly even higher
Israel will inspire
Fair and just, you can't defame
So bright, will you hear her cries
As terror tries to have its way
They can try but they'll never destroy her name
Israel's the light the world
No matter what the terrorists say
Oh, she got the good on her side
But they keep bringing her down
Oh, haters scream so loud
But she's not backing down
Israel will inspire
Israel will inspire
She'll fly even higher
Israel will inspire
Everybody hides, as she fights on
If they could see the truth that's in her eyes
Watch her as she stands up for her rights
Nobody knows that she's a shiny pearl
And it's a lonely world
But she gonna tell the truth, baby, truth, baby
Israel will inspire
Israel will inspire
She'll fly even higher
Israel will inspire

We Just Called to Say We LOVE Israel!
Singer Stevie Wonder agreed to perform at the 2012 winter gala of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, until anti-Israel groups pressured him to cancel. Stevie caved to their lies and propaganda and backed out. Stevie, this one is for you.
Lyrics (sing along!):
No Hannukah
For Stevie Wonder
No blue & white chocolate coins to give away
The Arab Spring
No cause to sing
In fact, for terror it's just an ordinary day
The rockets rain
on Israel's bloom
No one stands up for Israel in her time of gloom
But what Israel is,
is something true
No one can stop three words that we must say to you:
We just called to say we love you
We just called to say how much we care
We just called to say we love you
And we support you from the bottom of our hearts
Now's the time
To end the lies
To shine the Jewish light through the Arabian night
No Sabbath peace,
while sirens ring,
not even time for the few birds to fly through southern skies
Israel's the sun
The Mid-east Queen
She gets no thanks for all the bounty that she brings
But Israel, you're oh so good
Defend yourself as only you ever could
We just called to say we love you
We just called to say how much we care
We just called to say we love you
And we support you from the bottom of our hearts

ZOA: Illegal Arab Settlement: An Expose on Arab Land Theft in Israel"
Q: Doesn't Israel have more important issues to worry about right now?
A: It's all related. Arab missiles are a direct, physical assault on Israel's existence. Arab land theft is an indirect and insidious assault on Israel's existence. Without the world watching, Arab groups hostile to Israel's existence systematically usurp Israel's most precious resource: land.
Q: Do Arabs really steal Israeli land?
Yes, all the time, but it's often not exposed. NGOs, often with Jewish leadership (such as the extremist organization, Peace Now) are more obsessed with cracking down on what they believe is Jewish theft of Arab land in Judea & Samaria (the West Bank). They pursue the demolition of Jewish homes through the Israeli Supreme Court. A disproportionate focus on alleged Jewish theft over rampant Arab theft of Israeli land is obviously a form of discrimination, and more often than not anti-Semitism and/or self-hatred, but you can draw your own conclusions. Regavim is there to ensure Arabs follow rule of law as well.
Q: It sounds so extreme to say Arabs "steal" land.
A: Truth is not a political opinion. Why aren't Arabs and anti-Israel activists called "extreme" when they call for expelling Jews from land they fraudulently claim is "stolen"? On the other hand, why shouldn't Arabs give land to Jews in exchange for peace?
Q: I asked for answers, not more questions.
A: You were the one who screwed up the format first, and they were rhetorical questions. This is obviously a subject that arouses passions. Come to the presentation to learn the facts. Ari Briggs is an excellent speaker!
Q: Does the Israeli government really let this land grab happen?
A: Yes, often out of fear from appearing too aggressive or "racist." Apparently, it's not a racist policy for the Israeli government to expel Jews, but enforcing the law to deter illegal Arab settlement is smacked as "racist."

YESH! The Greatest Israel You've Never Seen
Been to Israel before? Great! But you probably haven't been to its "lost world" of sorts, like the mythical Atlantis. A good portion of the country has been kept secret from you. Well, the people of Judea & Samaria are letting the cat out of the bag: creative and meaningful life is being lived in Judea & Samaria, aka the West Bank, aka the Territories, aka the Biblical heartland--whatever you wanna call it, the land awaits you.
The wine is aging in barrels, the olive oil is being pressed, the sheep are getting fed, the floors are being swept--all for you--participants of a one-of-a-kind mission to Israel, the birthright of "Birthrights": YESH! A multi-sensory mission to Judea and Samaria being organized by the Zionist Organization of American andOne Israel Fund.
Don't stand on the sidelines as Jewish history is being made, as the fate of the Jewish people and Israel is being decided, as the media and pundits misrepresent the truth about what's going on in Israel and especially Judea & Samaria. Come see for yourself--in an amazingly enjoyable way--the place that is in the hearts and minds of every Jew who cares about Israel: Judea & Samaria.
