Nachum concluded his great week of broadcasting from Israel this morning when he was live at Migdal Ohr, Rabbi Grossman's Migdal Ohr Youth Village, in Migdal Ha'Emek. Nachum had the pleasure of interviewing various members of Migdal Ohr including Rabbi Ari Kahn, Executive Vice President, Israel and the legendary Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman Shlita. Migdal Ohr (Hebrew for "Tower of Light") was established in 1972 for the express purpose of providing education and social guidance to the children from underprivileged and troubled homes from across Israel. Homes with drug problems, impoverished, crime-ridden families, one-parent families in distress, new immigrant families--these are the target populations from which Migdal Ohr draws its nearly 6,500 students at all levels of the educational spectrum.
