The cancerous New York Times; New York Times’ ‘true agenda of hate’ By Pamela Geller, WND

On the first night of Chanukah, the New York Times indulged in its grotesque penchant for its special brand of subtle, sophisticated Jew-hatred, on the front page – of course.

Not only did the New York Times publish a nipple on the front page (a first) next to a tattooed Jewish star, but the article is all about the cancerous Jews. Front page stuff, don’t you know? All the Jews that are fit to libel in print:

While poor countries struggle to provide even basic cancer care to women, wealthier societies like Israel and the United States are increasingly using sophisticated technologies to identify those at greatest risk in an effort to thwart the disease before it gets started.

Front page. It’s really vile – disgusting. A tattooed (tattoos are a violation of Jewish law) Jewish star above a nipple as the image for the “Jews’ genetic predisposition to cancer.” Jews = cancer. Jews were tattooed and naked when they were killed in concentration camps. The Times must be taking its talking points from Iran.

I would love to see the New York Times dare to run a front-page article on cancerous Muslims, illustrated with a half-naked Muslima’s nipple on Ramadan. Yeah, right. They like their building too much.

But this is par for the course for the Times. When the jihad terror group Hamas several weeks ago appointed a woman as its spokesperson, its front to the world, the real story was the New York Times headline: “Conservative Hamas Appoints First Spokeswoman.”

Anyone can see past this ruse: pimping a woman to do your savage messaging. Hamas was obviously moved by how eager Obama was to buy the Iranian “moderate” Rouhani ruse. But the New York Times’ use of the word “conservative” to describe Hamas is what is most revealing.

Hamas is a designated terrorist group by the United States government. Hamas is a devout Muslim group that exists solely to annihilate the Jewish people. The New York Times and other mainstream organizations refuse to speak to the Islamic motive behind Hamas’ savagery and its vicious acts of mass murder, but they freely call it “conservative” to smear and libel true conservatives.

Conservative what, exactly? Muslims? No, they are devout and deeply religious Muslims. The New York Times never ever speaks to that.

And in October, the Daily Caller reported that “earlier this month, the New York Times announced that it had hired Egyptian novelist Alaa Al-Aswany to write a monthly column for the paper. But according to Egypt scholar Eric Trager of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Al-Aswany buys into the conspiratorial notion that a cabal of Jews controls American leaders.”

Like Islamic supremacists across the world, the New York Times is throwing off what little mask there is left to reveal its true agenda of hate.

Al-Aswany insists that he is simply anti-Zionist, not anti-Semitic, but that is dishonest. Anti-Zionism is merely a marketing tool for annihilationists. Anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism.

And in March 2012, a virulently anti-Catholic ad ran in the New York Times. That ad inspired me to create the same ad but for one thing: a different religion. The craven quislings at the New York Times rejected our ad.

Bob Christie, senior vice president of corporate communications for the New York Times, called me to advise me that they would be accepting my ad, but considering the situation on the ground in Afghanistan, it would not be a good time to run it, as they did not want to enflame an already hot situation. They will be reconsidering it for publication in “a few months.”

So I said to Mr. Christie, “Isn’t this the very point of the ad? If you feared the Catholics were going to attack the New York Times building, would you have run that ad?”

Mr. Christie said, “I’m not here to discuss the anti-Catholic ad.”

I said, “But I am, it’s the exact same ad.”

He said, “No, it’s not.”

I said, “I can’t believe you’re bowing to this Islamic barbarity and thuggery. I can’t believe this is the narrative. You’re not accepting my ad. You’re rejecting my ad. You can’t even say it.”

We used the same language as the anti-Catholic ad. The only difference was that ours was true and what we describe is true. The anti-Catholic ad was written by fallacious feminazis.

It was most disingenuous for the New York Times to refuse to run our counter-jihad ad based on their “concern for U.S. troops in Afghanistan.” Liars. Who has done more to jeopardize our troops and American citizens than the pro-jihadist New York Times? They are notorious for their treasonous reportage.

The New York Times leaked FISA and admitted that they released this information knowing that it would damage national security. Porter Goss told the Senate at that time that the New York Times leaks had damaged our intelligence gathering capability, and in so doing, our national security.

The New York Times exposed a “highly classified Pentagon order” authorizing Special Operations forces to hunt al-Qaida leaders in mountains of Pakistan. The New York Times exposed SWIFT (which put military and civilians at great risk of jihad). SWIFT was a legal secret program that gave the government access to a massive database of international financial transactions, using “broad subpoenas to collect the financial records from an international system.”

But it has no reservations about submitting to the bloody demands of Shariah and spreading Jew-hatred on its front page. The New York Times has surrendered to savagery.

ISRAEL MATZAV: Mona Eltahaway going on trial in New York

For those who have forgotten her, Mona Eltahaway, the Egyptian darling of the J Street crowd, is going on trial in New York in the coming days fordefacing one of Pamela Geller's posters in the New York City subways decrying Islamic violence.

For those who have forgotten just what Eltahaway did, please go to that last link. It's quite entertaining.

Eltahaway has already admitted her guilt - at least outside the court room.

After all this agitation, Eltahawy has now decided that it was finally time to do what one could have expected from a prominent writer long ago, and she has taken to the pages of the Guardian’s Comment is Free (CiF) website to make her case in writing.

It is quite obviously a weak case. The headline of her post announces “If anti-Muslim ads are protected, so must be my free speech right to protest” – but the text reveals that even Eltahawy is aware that her act of vandalism wasn’t really an exercise of free speech, because she admits: “I broke the law, yes.”

But Eltahawy adds defiantly: “So what? I broke it to make a point of principle. Eleven years after the 9/11 attacks, American Muslims are still being bullied and vilified.”

Indeed, Eltahawy tries hard to make the case that there is at least some “coincidental correlation” between the ads that denounce violent jihad as savage and various incidents of anti-Muslim violence and bigotry.

Who are Pamela Geller's critics?

The video is a response to Rabbi Michael White and Rabbi Jerome Davidson's article in the Jewish Week called Hate Speech Has No Place in a Synagogue dated Tue, 04/09/2013, which led the cancellation of a speech by Pamela Geller. This is also a message to her critics and those critical of her message. 

They blocked Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs website by saying that her anti-Jihad ads are hate speech and a hate crime, but are they? Or is she just telling the truth about Jihad and terrorism. 

Geller's adverts don't target Muslims but targets Jihadists who attack Israel, Buddhists, Christians, atheists, Hindus, and other groups. Most of her ads are in response to anti-Israel ads that call for the unfunding of Israel and making false claims against the only Jewish nation state in the word. 

Are Rabbi Michael White and Rabbi Jerome Davidson ignorant of what the Quran says about Jews, Christians and others, like this;

Qur'an 3:32—Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers.

Al-Bukhari, Al-Adab al-Mufrad 1103—Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Do not give the People of the Book the greeting first. Force them to the narrowest part of the road." 

Sahih al-Bukhari, Ch. 88—Narrated Ibn Umar that the Prophet said, "My livelihood is under the shade of my spear, and he who disobeys my orders will be humiliated by paying Jizya."

Are White and Davidson like the old Nazsi judenrats who sided against their own Jewish and Israeli people hoping that nothing will happen to them...or are they just stupid and ignorant about what Islam teaches and says about Jews and the Jewish people, not only Jewish people but all other people, like Hindu, Buddhist, atheist, Christian people? Are White, Davidson and their ilk the new Judenräte?

San Francisco bus ad: 'Killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah'

The ad above is appearing on buses in San Francisco, and this time it was not placed by the jihadis. It was placed by Pam Geller's American Freedom Defense Initiative and it's meant to show the reality of jihad. The ads have San Francisco Leftists bouncing off the walls.

Several San Francisco city leaders, including District Attorney George Gascon, have condemned the campaign.

“San Francisco won’t tolerate Islamophobic bigotry,” said Gascon. “The only thing necessary for evil to prevail is for good people to look the other way and do nothing.”

Board of Supervisors President David Chiu said the American Freedom Defense Initiative is made of “well-known hate extremists” and said he is introducing a resolution at Tuesday’s board meeting to denounce the ads.

Geller said the ads were a response to another bus ad campaign earlier this year by the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

That campaign sought to disassociate the word “jihad” with violence and reclaim its meaning as “the struggle,” which is a central tenet of Islam.

Could someone please explain to me why quoting the very words that the Islamic terrorists use is 'Islamophobia'?

First, let me thank the hundreds of freedom lovers who emailed, tweeted, FB'ed and commented on my request for input on our counter campaign for truth. Atlas readers' knowledge about the quran is enormously impressive. Your input was invaluable.

As you know, Hamas-CAIR had unveiled a new ad campaign citing quran (albeit an abrogated verse) to counter our anti-jihad ads now running on DC Metro platforms.

Citing quran is indeed a brilliant idea. So brilliant, in fact, that I decided that that would be our next advertising-education initiative. The objective of the new AFDI ad campaign is to educate millions about the ideology behind the tens of thousands of deadly Islamic attacks since 911, the brutal oppression and subjugation of non-Muslims, secular Muslims and women, and the 1,400 years of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements.

After much consideration (there are so many vile texts to choose from) and terrific input from Atlas readers who tweeted, commented, emailed and posted at Facebook, the above ad will initiate the new AFDI truth campaign. We intend for it to be the first in an ongoing series.

What a wonderful way to educate millions of Americans on what is actually in that book. We hope to feature all of the verses  (that have not been abrogated or cancelled) that call for jihad and the sharia. Yes, this will go on for years.

On abrogation: Islamic scholar Ibn Warraq, on abrogation page 115, Why I am Not a Muslim:

"Now we see how useful and convenient the doctrine of abrogation is in bailing scholars out of difficulties. Of course, it does pose a problem for apologists of Islam, since all the passages preaching tolerance are found in the Meccan, i.e., early suras, and all the passages recommending killing, decapitating, and maiming are Median, i.e., later: "tolerance" has been abrogated by "intolerance." For example, the famous verse at Sura 9.5, "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them," is said to have canceled 124 verses that dictate tolerance and patience." and... Ibn Warraq, page 11,Why I am Not a Muslim: The term "Islamic fundenentalist" is in itself inappropriate, for there is a vast difference between Christianity and Islam. Most Christians have moved away from the literal interpertation of the Bible; for most of them, "it ain't necessaraly so." Thus we can legitmately distinguish between fundamentalist and nonfundamentalist Christians. But Muslims have not moved away from the literal interpretaion of the Koran; all Muslims-not just a group we have called "fundamentalist"-believe that the Koran is literally the word of God."

Islamic supremacists and their apologists will say that Deuteronomy and other Biblical books have violent passages as well. However, nowhere do the Jewish or Christian Scriptures tell all believers in general to wage war against unbelievers as such. Only the Qur'an contains such passages. Also, Islam, unlike Judaism and Christianity, has never gone through a period of reformation and enlightenment either involving or resulting in any thoroughgoing reevaluation of the literal sense of its sacred texts. This is why you do not see Jews or Christians slaughtering unbelievers and justifying their actions by quoting their Scriptures, while Muslims around the world do this with depressing frequency.

And as David Wood of Answering Muslims points out," Surah 7 (quoted in the CAIR ad) is a middle Meccan Surah, meaning it was "revealed" to Muhammad when he was still a persecuted "prophet" in Mecca with only a few dozen followers. The "revelations" he received during this time called for peace, not because Islam promotes peace, but because Muslims were in the minority. Later, when Muslims formed a majority, Muhammad's "revelations" suddenly called for the violent subjugation of all non-Muslims (see 9:29, for instance, which was "revealed" shortly before Muhammad's death).

Interestingly, the context of the verse quoted by CAIR is a collection of condemnations of the religious beliefs of the polytheists of Mecca (see 7:190-198, for instance, which immediately precede 7:199). Why is this important? Because groups like CAIR assure us that it's wrong and immoral to criticize the religious beliefs of others. Yet they go to the most peaceful period in Muhammad's career, and even here we find Muhammad condemning the beliefs of others!

Pamela Geller speaks at 9/27 MTA Meeting addressing ad rule changes

Last week I wrote of the MTA hearing I attended on whether they were going to change their policy to refuse all political ads (background here). It was, essentsally, a freak show. The people who attended were for the most part OWS thugs, anarchists, and Jew-haters. They spoke as one violent and hateful voice, attacking the board members, attacking the system, attacking me, attacking everything they could.

OWS had sent out a notice earlier that day calling Eltahawy's anti-free speech fascist vandalism a "righteous act" and saying: "If it wasn't clear before, it is now obvious that the MTA is incapable of operating public transportation for the 99%." At the hearing, one OWS brownshirt said to the MTA Board: "You all would be shivering if you knew what's coming! Your days are numbered!"

In this poisonous atmosphere, I was grateful to be given the opportunity to speak. I explained the context of the ad, how it was a response to the anti-Israel ads that ran in the subways with no complaints. Of course, these free speech crushers did everything they could to shout me down. They were escorted out quickly.

I asked why this meeting had not taken place when not one, but numerous anti-Israel ads were up. That in itself shows an institutionalized, systemic anti-Israel bias. This is New York. They're worried about provoking jihadis? In 1993 there were no ads up, or cartoons or movies about Muhammad, but the World Trade Center got hit just the same. Nor were there any ads "offensive to Muslims" before 9/11.

They worried that the ads are "racist"? Jihad is not a race. I asked them to consider their decision very carefully -- I understand the pressure of the critical media and the howl of the mob. But the world is watching. As messy as this conversation is, this is the price of the freedom of speech. I asked them to stand for the freedom of speech, make the tough decision and do the right thing.

Pamela Geller on ABC News covering Pro-Israel Bus ads

Mark Matthews of ABC News (KGO TV), San Francisco, did a news report on our pro-Israel bus ads that just hit the streets. In it, Matthews proselytizes for Islam, redefines jihad, and makes a bit of a fool of himself. He falls over himself to get the Islamic perspective but runs no counter to their claims. He spent a good deal of time during our interview arguing about the word "savage." I explained that any war on innocent civilians was savagery. Matthews countered that both the US and Israel have killed innocent civilians and I shot back that the US and Israel never target innocent civilians, ever. The deaths of innocent civilians are the tragic consequence of war sometimes. The war on Israel, OTOH, is a war on innocent civilians. Needless to say, that never made it onto the broadcast interview.

Court upholds right to post 'anti-Islam' ads on NYC buses; American Freedom Defense Initiative director wins legal battle over right to post advertisements calling enemies of Israel "savages" • Metropolitan Transportation Authority had rejected ad on the grounds that it was demeaning to Muslims, but judge cites First Amendment in overruling decision

An anti-Islam activist has won a preliminary round in her First Amendment fight to place New York City bus advertisements calling enemies of Israel "savages."

Pamela Geller, executive director of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, had submitted an ad from the group that read, “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man.” Then, between two Stars of David, the ad said: “Support Israel. Defeat Jihad.”

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority had rejected the ad for being demeaning to Muslims, citing company policy stipulating that ads should not demean individuals or groups based on race, religion or other protected categories.

But federal Judge Paul Engelmayer in Manhattan said he agreed with Geller and the authority should not have rejected the ad. Engelmayer granted a preliminary injunction on Friday barring the MTA from enforcing the standard.

Geller publishes a blog called Atlas Shrugged that warns of growing "Islamization."

A conference in the case is scheduled for Aug. 29. The MTA said it was reviewing the decision.

Dialogue with Muslims won't quell Islamic Jew-hatred; Anti-Islamist blogger responds to accusations she publishes 'dishonest hate literature about Muslims and Islam.' By Pamela Geller

Dylan Kaplan appeals for harmony between Jews and Muslims whileclaiming that Robert Spencer and I “publish dishonest hate literature about Muslims and Islam.” Kaplan has high hopes for his project of building friendships, claiming that “if we could make friends we would be bringing security” to Israelis and “Palestinians.”

Why are we exhorted to initiate dialogue with Muslims, while there’s never talk of the Islamic Jew-hatred that has motivated 1,400 years of Muslim persecution of the Jews?

The root cause of the ongoing war against Israel is Islamic Jew-hatred: Quranic chapter and verse served up as a daily diet in the “Palestinian” media. The same Islamic Jew-hatred that fueled the alliance between Hitler and the leader of the Muslim world, the Mufti of Jerusalem. “Making friends” won’t eradicate that hate.

Where is Kaplan’s discussion of the 1,000,000 Jews who were expelled from Muslim lands in 1948, when Israel was established? We hear much about how Muslims were supposedly expelled from Israel, but they were told to leave by their leaders, who said they could come back after Israel was destroyed. How is that the Jews’ fault?

How does it make Spencer and me haters if we discuss the root causes of the enmity that many Muslims feel for Jews?

In my opinion, some left-wing Jews exalt the Taqiyya spread by Muslim practitioners of interfaith discussions, calling for civil dialogue with the adherents of this ideology, while smearing us for telling the truth. Scapegoating truth tellers is unconscionable. Kaplan is deceiving himself if he thinks he will ultimately escape the purveyors of the Big Lie he is currently serving with such enthusiasm.

Christian pastor being treated in Israel after acid attack by Muslims

Pam Geller reports that a Muslim who converted to Christianity and was attacked with acid by Muslims after becoming a pastor is being treated in Israel for his injuries (Hat Tip: Jack W).

Umar Mulinde, 38, converted to Christianity from Islam when he was in university. Since then, he has openly criticized Islam, and his ministry has included public debates with Muslims. His wife is a popular gospel singer.

The evangelical minister learned about Israel through JerusalemOnlineU.com, which offers online courses about Israel and Judaism. Mulinde went on to teach the courses at his Gospel Life Church International as well as to neighbouring Christian ministers. He also organized a 5,000-person teach-in about Israel in a local stadium.

The acid attack appears to have had religious overtones.

“I was attacked by a man who called out to me shouting ‘Pastor, Pastor’ and I turned to see who he was,” said Mulinde. “Then he poured acid which burnt part of my face. As I turned away from the attacker, another man poured liquid on my back and ran away shouting ‘Allah Akhbar’ (God is greater).”

The acid caused severe burns to Mulinde’s face and torso and damaged his right eye. While in hospital in Kampala, he contacted Andrea Gottlieb, executive director, JerusalemOnlineU.com, and asked whether the school could help him seek more advanced medical treatment in Israel. Gottlieb turned to Professor Zeev Rotstein, director, The Chaim Sheba Medical Center, in Tel Hashomer, Israel. In addition to its global humanitarian work, Sheba has specialized in providing care for eye and burn injuries throughout Africa. Rotstein offered to provide acute and rehabilitative care to Mulinde at no charge.

But it's okay because the attackers don't represent Islam. Count on it.

Romney praises Hezbollah's healthcare system

Romney: ..."Did you notice in Lebanon, what Hezbollah did? Lebanon became a democracy some time ago and while their government was getting underway, Hezbollah went into southern Lebanon and provided health clinics to some of the people there, and schools. And they built their support there by having done so. That kind of diplomacy is something that would help America become stronger around the world and help people understand that our interest is an interest towards modernity and goodness and freedom for all people in the world. And so, I want to see America carry out that kind of health diplomacy..."

I think the video is stark proof of how clueless Romney is on jihad. His previous statements, "jihadism Is not part of Islam" and "Islam is not an inherently violent faith," show a willful ignorance on a crucial issue facing the nation.

This video is from 2007, when then (and current) Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is holding a town hall meeting in Ottumwa, Iowa. One of the members of the audience asked him if he would commit the money necessary to continue President Bush's AIDS program in Africa as a way to restore good will toward America. His answer, while not picked up on by the members of the audience, absolutely floored me. He started out by agreeing with the premise of the question, touting America's health care system -- then he dropped the bombshell.

Mitt Romney is praising Hezbollah's healthcare system, and says at the end of the video that we should support muslim countries with our legal and healthcare systems to fight jihadism. 

We know that a higher education and living standard are not inversely associated with less terrorism. At all. The 911 hijackers were well educated, and some were well off. The Christmas balls bomber was a UK-educated son of a diplomat. The recent arrest of a Texas Muslim was a US boarding school student who became an Al Qaeda homicide bomber. The Glasgow jihadists were wealthy physicians. Osama bin Laden himself was a scion of an extremely wealthy family.

Romney's ignorance and pandering to jihadists are stunning. It's surprising that this vid hasn't been picked up by Newt Gingrich yet. I am sure that what Romney says here would be a significant blow to his campaign if people knew about it. (hat tip Robert W.)

OT but related: Coulter's tirade against Newt on Bull O'Reilly's show last night (watch it here) was not logical or coherent with her positions. Her hatred for Gingrich is visceral, abiding, and inexplicable rationally. There is something more here. Personal, perhaps? 

Comparing Newt to Jesse Jackson is an outrageous charge. She is way off base, and O'Reilly ought to have a conservative pundit out as vocal in their support of Newt as she was in support of Romney.

She is ...unhinged, and I hate to use that word because it is used against me with such venom and dishonesty, but you can see she is beside herself. She is staking out positions she wouldn't support in other contexts, like covering for mainstream media reporters.

Romney is more conservative than any of the other candidates? Nuts. More than Santorum? More than Ron Paul, who is largely conservative except for nuts on foreign policy? Something else is happening here. They must know each other and hate each other for some reason we don't know.
