The Big Lie

The Big Lie

How many times have you heard that majorities on both sides of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict want peace? This is a lie – now, in the past, and in the foreseeable future. It has always been true of the Israeli side, but no Palestinian leader has ever been ready to recognize Israel as a Jewish state and homeland to the Jewish people. Arafat (publicly) and Abbas (privately) have supposedly done so, but this is a lie and a fraud. While they recognize Israel as a state, they have never given up the demand that Palestinian refugees return to the newly truncated Jewish state, instead of to the newly created Palestinian state.

These refugees will create an Arab Muslim majority in the democratic state of Israel, either immediately or within a few years. This means no Jewish state. It also means the poor, oppressed Palestinian people will be awarded for their terrorism with two more Palestinian states, Palestine (Jew-free) and Israel. This is in addition to the state they already have, Jordan (Jew-free), which is 70%-80% Palestinian.

Also, it is doubtful that the Arab Muslims will be satisfied with a mere majority. Yassir Arafat used to boast that the Palestinians most effective weapon was the wombs of their women. He urged these women to out-reproduce their Jewish enemies. They have, and this trend will continue. Also, Palestinian leaders will encourage Arab-Israeli citizens to double their numbers by marrying non-Israeli Arabs and bringing them to live in Israel.

These Arab-Israelis will create a huge Fifth Column inside of Israel to foment trouble. Muslims are demanding the imposition of Sharia (Islamic Law) in England. That is the least they would demand in Israel. In no time, this Fifth Column will give Israel’s surrounding Arab states a phony excuse to invade and get rid of the remaining Jews.

As long as there is no relinquishing of the Palestinian refugee’s right of return, there can be no Arab recognition for the Jewish state of Israel and no peace. The July 12 poll by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion (no friend of Israel) shows 81.7% of Palestinians say they shouldn’t renounce the right of return even if the price would be the non-conclusion of a peace deal with Israel.

Even more, 81.8%, are against this renunciation even if the refugees are financially compensated. Far more shocking is the fact the poll was conducted among Palestinians living in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip. It did not include the actual refugees themselves living in Lebanon and elsewhere in the world.

Here are the two relevant poll questions:

14) Do you think that the Palestinians must renounce their right of home return, which Israel will never accept, in exchange for having an independent Palestinian state and the conclusion of a peace deal with Israel?
