IDF doctors to establish field clinic in Japan; Clinic will provide routine medical services to Japanese residents forced from their homes by recent disasters

Around 50 IDF military doctors will set up a field clinic this week in Japan that will provide routine medical services to Japanese residents forced from their homes by the recent disasters in that country.
The clinic will be located about 150 kilometers from the Fukushima nuclear facilities that were damaged by a massive earthquake more than a week ago.
The doctors will be accompanied by officers of the IDF Homefront Command.
The decision to send the doctors was made based on the findings of a preliminary delegation, under the command of Col. Dr. Ariel Bar, which left for Japan on Saturday. Bar is the head of the Homefront Medical Division. 
The dispatch of the military doctors to Japan was coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.
