John Galliano anti-Semitic rant caught on video; Slurs on camera 'I love Hitler'

A video of Christian Dior's chief designer John Galliano announcing that he 'loves Hitler' has made an extremely offensive splash across the internet.

The video - obtained by British tabloid The Sun – comes in the wake of an incident at a Paris cafe last week, where the designer was charged with spouting hateful rhetoric.

While it is unclear whether the video is from the night in question, there's no doubt that it's the designer spouting the hate.

"I love Hitler," the mustachioed, black-clad British designer slurred at his fellow diners at the Paris cafe La Perle.  "People like you would be dead today.  Your mothers, your forefathers would be f**ing gassed and dead."

Aghast, the woman off camera asked him if he wasn't interested in peace in the world.

"Not with ugly people," he replied.

Stephane Zerbib, Galliano's lawyer, told The Associated Press he didn't know when the video was filmed.

On Monday, the disgraced designer appeared at a Paris police station to answer to accusations that he verbally accosted a couple with anti-Semitic statements on the night on Feb. 23, according to The AP.

According to police papers, on the night in question, gallery curator Geraldine Bloch claimed that Galliano grabbed her hair and shouted "Dirty Jew face, you should be dead," and told her to "shut your mouth, dirty bitch, I can't stand your dirty whore voice," the Daily Mail reported.

After he was finished allegedly assaulting Bloch, he then reportedly moved onto her boyfriend, Philippe Virgitti and screamed "[Expletive] Asian [expletive], I'll kill you!", according to the newspaper.

Bloch told police Galliano continued: "You're so ugly I can't bear looking at you. You're wearing cheap boots, cheap thigh boots. You've got no hair, your eyebrows are ugly, you're ugly, you're nothing but a whore."

It is not immediately clear what sparked the confrontation, but according to the Mail, Bloch told police he concluded it in the most embarrassing fashion: striking his signature pose that he does at the end of runway shows and shouting "I am the designer John Gailiano!"

Zerbib said the designer has denied the couple's accusations and has filed a countersuit against them for alleged defamation, threats and insults.

Making anti-Semitic remarks is illegal in France and can bring up to six months in prison.

Galliano still has one A-list fan who chose to wear his creations at the OscarsNicole Kidman

The Aussie beauty wore a pale pink, bejeweled gown by the designer to the awards Sunday night.

Galliano's attorney told the AP on Friday that Galliano "never made an anti-Semitic remark in more than 10 years at Dior."

The famed designer had indeed been drinking before his alleged tirade – he reportedly had in his bloodstream over twice the legal limit to drive in France after the reported incident.

Christian Dior has suspended Galliano pending an investigation, citing its "zero tolerance" policy on anti-Semitism.

Galliano has been at the style head of Christian Dior since 1996.
