The ‘Rosh Yeshiva’ Rabbi Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteineman has expressed his concern for Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, the Lithuanian Mentor. Mass prayer services will be held after the afternoon service of Mincha on this Thursday.

The Rabbi’s health has been fluctuating recently. He was able to attend a Talmud completion ceremony last Saturday night, and a few days before that he visited the Western Wall.
No matter what, the Rabbi insists on his study of the weekly Torah portion. Despite knowing the entire Torah by heart the rabbi uses a 3.3 ft edition Torah volume, printed especially for him.
His mind is still completely clear. Hopefully his body will recover too.
