Baruch's office is in mid-Wilshire, Los Angeles, and he litigates adversary cases primarily in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court where he has successfully prosecuted, defended and settled complaints for non-dischargeability of debt under 11 U.S.C. 523(a)(2), (4), & (6); to deny discharge under 11 U.S.C. 727(a)(2); to recover preferential transfers under 11 U.S.C. 547; and to recover fraudulent conveyances under 11 U.S.C. 548.

1. He settled a complaint of bankruptcy fraud objecting to my client's discharge on a prepetition judgment of $7,500,000 for only $200,000 (11 U.S.C. 727(a)(2), (a)(3), (a)(4), & (a)(5); # 6:12-ap-01027-MJ);
2. Baruch obtained a $5,125,000 stipulated judgment against a Ponzi scheme debtor (11 U.S.C. 523(a)(2)(A), (a)(2)(B)(4) & (a)(2)(B)(6); # 9:10-ap-01303-RR);
3. He obtained a defense verdict for a debtor accused of defrauding creditors and the courts of $650,000 (11 U.S.C. 727(a)(2)(A), (a)(2)(B), (a)(3) & (a)(4)(A); # 8:11-ap-01221-TA);
4. Baruch obtained a defense verdict for a debtor/wife accused of defrauding creditor/husband of $65,000 (11 U.S.C. 523(a)(2)(A), (a)(2)(B)(4), (a)(6); # 2:11-ap-02402-BR);
5. He obtained a summary judgment on res judicata and collateral estoppel grounds, reducing the state court judgment from $1,310,559.50 down to $73,239.71 (11 U.S.C. 727(a)(2), (a)(3), (a)(4), (a)(5); # 6:12-ap-01152-MJ);
6. Baruch obtained a dismissal of a $375,544.71 fraud lawsuit where the debtor signed a pre-petition confession of judgment for fraud (11 U.S.C. 523(a)(2)(A), (a)(4); # 2-13-ap-01549-PC);
7. He obtained a dismissal of a $130,143 fraud lawsuit where the contractor obtained a state court judgment against a homeowner for an outstanding balance (11 U.S.C. 523(a)(2)(A), (a)(4) & (a)(6); # 6:13-ap-01438-WJ);
8. Baruch obtained a dismissal of two $860,000.00 fraud lawsuits against two brothers and business owners accused of defrauding their suppliers (11 U.S.C. 523(a)(2)(A), (a)(4), (a)(6); # 6:13-ap-01407-DS, & # 6:13-ap-01408-DS);
9. He obtained a $135,497.50 stipulated judgment against a debtor who illegally hacked into my client's emails and slandered him on a website (11 U.S.C. 523(a)(6); # 8:13-ap-01281-TA); and
10. Baruch obtained a $677,000 stipulated judgment against a debtor who embezzled worker's compensation receivables from my client (11 U.S.C. 523(a)(2)(A), (a)(4), (a)(6); # 6:14-ap-01154-SC).
