Jewish Persecution in Egypt

As is well known, Jewish history in Egypt goes back more than 3,000 years.It flourished well into the 20th century. But, as the State of Israel developed, more an more persecution against Jews continued. The numbers of Jews dwindled to be less than a hundred in recent decades. However, there are tens of thousands of Jews in Israel today who were either born or descended from Jews in Egypt.
