Mordechai Ben David--- מַכְנִיסֵי רַחֳמִים

At the conclusion of the selichot prayers which are recited during Elul and right through to Yom Kippur, there is a prayer which begins with the words “Machnisei Rachamim” (“Those who deliver the prayers”). Machnisei Rachamim is essentially an appeal to the angels that they assist us by personally presenting our prayers and supplications before God.

Machnisei Rachamim haknisu rahamenu
Angels of mercies, put our mercies lifnei baal harahamim
Before the Lord of merciesmashmie tefilah hashmiu tefilatenu
Propagators of prayer, make our prayer heardlifne shomea tefilah Before Hearer of prayer
