Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon's keynote speech at the Bet El dinner where I had interviewed him on Sunday night. Ayalon is not known as a religious person, but he evidently knows his audience, because his speech was chock full of Torah references to the and religious justifications for the State of Israel to remain in the Land of Israel. In other words, people who already hate him for his political views will have their heads explode in anger to see him mention the Torah as well.
